I wanted to share another Kickstarter project that got my attention this week. It’s a design project by Aleksandr Peredereyev that uses the free Google Androidify app to design custom Android stickers.

“Our latest idea came up when we first used the Androidify App. We thought that it would be a great idea to make Android stickers based on what people created through the Androidify App, but to make this idea possible we need to have a new piece of equipment, that’s where you come in and with your support we can make this happen. You will have the choice of having yourself, your friends, your family, or anyone turned into an Android sticker” explained Peredereyev.

Creating your stickers is a simple two step process:

  1. Download the free Androidify App via Android Market. You customize can customize your Android Avatar the way you want it to look. Stretch it, shrink it, add a hoody, style it’s hair, throw on some shades, or even give it a parrot and a pirate hat.
  2. After you’ve settled on a design, You upload the customized Android avatars which they will turn into stickers and ship them to your door! The project is just over 10% funded having received pledges of $489 of the $4,550 goal with 39 days to go as of this writing. If you are interested in being a backer of this project visit their Androidify Stickers Kickstarter page. You can pledge as little as $1 and they are offering different levels of pledge rewards starting with $5 pledges. Pledges of $25 or more receive a Droidify Pack which includes 10 custom Androidify stickers of the same design including a poster with your custom design included in it! (International pledgers will need to add $7 for shipping and handling.
